I wore glasses from 2nd grade to 9th grade, and been in contacts ever since.

Something about them peeling away a layer of my eyeball with a laser does not appeal.

Ive been wearing soft contacts for almost 30 years, and they work well for me...

...put in a new pair every 30 days, or more if i forget (and i do) and rock on

i need to get off my ass and get the DOD to do this for me. at -5.5 in each eye...there's really no reason not to. i was looking into it a few years back and it sounded like my my astigmatism would still require glasses after surgery--thereby defeating most of the purpose.

i've been wearing glasses since i was 7. i'm kinda scared to see myself in the mirror--clearly--without them.
