doesn't bother me. then again, all i see is AFN commercials...so it's not like i have to endure commercials like that non-stop (mine are WAY, WAY worse).

besides, there's so many god-awful commercials/products that have had very nice songs used.

That's the point. I hear those songs, and the brain immediately goes to the product. I don't blame the artists; I'd sell out in a heartbeat, too.

Well if it wasn't for ads, I would not have ever heard of these songs:

    Miriam Makaba - Pata Pata:

Mr. Scruff - Get a Move On:

Dirty Vegas - Days Go By:

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour - Golden Age

Ben Lee - Catch My Disease (Ok, I'd heard it once before...but still)

If I dig through my music collection, I can probably find many more...these are just the ones that are off the top of my head.

And I'll blame the ads for making me ever hear those songs. D: Other than Dirty Vegas, those are all turrible.

Nah, my musical taste simply isn't comprised of "Hmm, what's the gayest, most obscure nonsense out there?".

An oldie, but a very damn goodie. Lots of feeling in this song.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

If Miriam Makaba is "ghey", then by all means, feel free to TRY and put it in my butt. A little culture wouldn't hurt WV in the least.

Obsure? Meh. Most of the best music ever created was from 1 hit wonders.

An 50's-60's artist from South Africa. I need not say anymore. Next.

The stereotyping jokes are lame. Get new parts for your head, eurofag.

Fine. REDNECK trash from WV and I won't see eye-to-eye musically. Meh. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's not legit.

*goes back to listening to Sinatra*
