I have the "black ninja" pair (Vibram Five Finger KSO's). I thought they were funny at first too, but they are incredibly comfortable and enjoyable to run in. If you are an athletic person with and athletic build then they typically dont look bad on you, but if you are not then i agree that they look funny. All in all i rock my KSO's because they breathe incredibly well, i have no fear of rolling an ankle, and the grip in get from running on any surface is amazing. I suggest you all try a pair of the KSO's on.
