I'm 6'4 and 180lbs. I'm not small, lol. I don't like the SRT-4 seats much because they push my shoulders forward, but if he fits them, that's what I'd suggest. Decent seats for the money.

Leather seats suck because you stick to them, they get really hot, really cold, and you slide all over them if you try to do any spirited driving. I don't know anyone that likes leather seats, they just deal with them. I was going to have mine reupholstered in alcantara, and repadded too, which would have made them much nicer.

Oh, I seen what you mean. I thought you were talking about Leather Seats.com. Yeah, I prefer them because they're easier to clean and for some reason cloth seats always cause me to get statically charged. I'm gonna' get blowed up at the gas station one of the days. I do like alcantara as well though. I wonder, is that different from suede?

I voted the srt seats but have you checked out the recaros from ssl evos? mmmm...I know, it's leather, but I heart the leather :P

Someone had suggested those. I would consider them. I'd like to find how hard they are to get into a 3S, the seating position, and how they look. Someone on the other site has done it but the pics he posted didn't really give you a good idea.

The SRT seats are a good choice, I was going to go with those eventually, or just pay extra for some recaro's that come in a dark gray leather.

I'm also 5'10 and about 160-165, I didn't have a problem with the shoulder area, but maybe they changed the seats over the years? This was several years ago when I was contemplating getting them.

Only change is that they added the holes for the belts over the shoulders in 2005.

How about some REAL viper seats? I came across these guys not too long ago and the price looks awesome

Hmm, I can get SRT-4 seats for $200 and they look exactly the same. Either way I would have to reupholster them. Plus I don't like the holes for the four point.

I just looked him up and they look good. Oddly enough, he's selling them. No brackets though.

No, leatherseats.com makes nice stuff, and they even make suede covers as well.

Suede and alcantara are very similar. Alcantara is more durable and requires less care than normal suede.
