Post-ECU injector control, or timing control. Some way to make injector control not fuck up timing.

I see no major issues doing any of those other than the auto learn, but im still doing some research so its a possibility. Can anyone give me some info or links as to why the injector control messes with timing? I cant see why the ECU would adjust timing unless there is knocking.

Lets compile a list or two...

    Independent Variables (sensors, inputs):
    -?

    Dependent Variables:
    - Injectors Control
    - MAF Signal
    - Timing

I'm sure you know this but the emanage ultimate can do that.

The FAST systems for domestics seem to have it down pat. With a wideband and 3-4 pulls they are on the money. The biggest obstacle to that is they are not piggybacks. Part of the difficulty in tuning is fighting the stock ECU and not really seeing where it is on the maps.

The best use of effort at this point IMO is to continue the research on the flashable stock ECUs.

Anything in the piggyback world is pretty much already done.

Yeah, I can agree with that. Im trying hard to find something new for these cars as I constantly see members wishing the system was this or that. With my limited access and time its almost easier for me to design something than to experiment.

Don't get me wrong, I'd welcome more options, but with the maf-T, arc2, e-manage, and safc there is pretty much something of every flavor.

What you should build is an HKS DLI style item that isn't $400

Yup. That's why I brought it up. I think that's one feature that makes the EMU stand out.

I'd have one auto-adjust the fuel curve by looking at a wideband, even at WOT.

Add/decrease timing by itself according to knock history once it figures out a pretty good fuel map.

Link isn't really a piggyback, though.
