Problem solved, well not solved, but found.

After talking with Grayson he suggested simply that the turbine side was too small, and I was blowing the gates open. He suggested to confirm this, go out, set to WG boost, and let her rip. If the boost climbed with RPM, it would confirm because their is too much exhaust flow. Well he was right (is he ever wrong?), and the problem is known. No easy fix really, except to wire the gates shut, which isn't happening

did you shim the gates with washers? I have 3 washers under each of my wastegate bolts.

I didn't put any washers anywhere, just adjusted the rod so you had to pull it over to the wastegate flapper.

Do you really think shimming will help? I dont want to mess with being able to actually control the wastegates either.

Dont forget I just got done installing 9psi springs in my wastegates too. I think with those, and the rod adjusted so you have to pull it over to attach it to the wastegate, shimming isn't going to help much, if at all.

It helped tremendously with my spool on my 19ts and 13Ts.

Yes, you lose a little bit of low boost control, but if you want to run less than 15 PSI then it isn't needed anyway.

I didn't have any problem holding boost to redline with my 13Ts.

Spool is not a problem, but I guess I can try shimming them and see what happens. The washers go on the bolts between the wastegate and its mounting point on the turbo right?

Any updates on the availability of the pre-modified ECU / harness? Any idea of a ballpark price yet?

If I beg, offer beer money, and sign a non-compete contract can I get the info on the missing knock-sensor components so I can mod my own?

I know boomslang will now make an adapter harness, with the reflash stuff included, if you ask. I think they want 250 bucks for it though. As for the ECUs, I haven't talked with Brett in a long time. I need to get a hold of him first.
