Overall, how hard would you say it would be to get a stock car to run on this setup? My VR4 is my DD but I've installed/tuned my eManage no problem and I'm wondering if I could get away doing this on my car. I have like $450 in my eManage setup.

Also, right now I'm using the Scanmaster/MMCd to log wideband. How would I log wideband without the Scanmaster/MMCd?
Unfortunetly there is no EGRT pin on the flashable ECUs, but there may be other 0-5v pins that coudl be used, dont know yet.

As for a stock car, easy. My car has 13t's, 450s, and 8.3:1 Wisecos. It runs and drives just like it did when it had 9bs, 360s, and stock pistons. A/C works just like it always did, everything works just like stock. Well I shouldn't say everything. If you have stock boost control, stock boost gauge, active exhaust, stock fuel pump hi/lo relay, that stuff wont work because its not hooked up in the ECU. However, I dont have any of that stuff anymore, so it wasn't a problem for me.

All I had to do was solder on the 3 pieces missing in the knock sensor circuit, get an adapter harness built that included an OBDII port and flash enable cable, use a tactix openport 2.0 with ecuflash to flash on 99 VR4 code, disable all the OBDII stuff, and thats it. Now, I also reflashed for bigger injectors (450s) and took some timing out due to the diff in sensor latencies and for my higher compression ratio. Other then that, thats all I did.

Doesn't sound terrible as I already have a Boomslang "patch" harness. Just need to learn how to wire in the OBD2 and reflash stuff and where to get the connectors then find out what OBD2 stuff to disable. Any 98-99 Montero ECU will work? Does it need to be a Montero Sport?

I got a regular Montero ECU. I would stick with that as that is the only thing I can confirm works first hand. Also a boomslang will not work. It's just an extender harness. The adapter harness has to go from a 99 pin out to whatever year you have.

Ok so a regular Montero manual transmission 98-99 ECU? Doesn't have to be a particular part number other than that?

And I couldn't use the pigtails from the Montero and wire that to my stock harness?

    Thanks a ton!

My 94 has no downstream. Only the two at the manifolds.

Am I correct in saying that with proper mapping this will replace the need for something such as ARC2? If so, would an experience tuner be able to tune for upgraded fuel, turbs, and such?

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

94-95 Federal cars have two sensors, Cali cars have four.

Automatic or manual, doesn't matter, same ECU. The trans control was separate. When I bought mine, I went on Ebay, searched for 99 Montero ECU, and bought the cheapest one. Yes, you can certainly do that. I was going to do that, until I got a harness made. You need to wire in an OBDII port, and flash enable cable for the Tactix. Brett Farnam made my harness, I'm not sure if hes going to make any more beyond the ones he's made for us testing this stuff out, but he may. I dont know if he is on this site, but he is on 3si.

Did you read my first post? I have 13t's, 450s, 8.3:1 Wiseco pistons, full exhaust no cats, hot wired walbro, and just about every other supporting mod you can have. I do not have ANY piggy backs hooked up. I reflashed my ECU for bigger injectors, and changed the timing maps, and my car runs just like stock, except its got 13t's set at 14psi. No knock, on 91 octane.
