SoCal 3S arranged a Dyno day down in Montclair CA. Three were dozens of 3S cars and a Supra and NSX. I had the opportunity to have my car checked on on their all wheel drive dyno. Here's the car strapped down and ready to run:
My car is running a BPU setup with an AVC-R boost controller set for 1.0 bar. K&N intake, stock exhaust, stock fuel system, stock turbos, and stock engine management. The car made 278 AWHP on the best of three runs. Taking drive train losses of 30% (very rough estimate), the car is making about 390 BHP at the flywheel:
I also ran logs using Evoscan for all three runs. Each run had about 25 counts of knock between 4800 and 6500 RPM. The injector duty cycle shows that the fuel system was maxed out so I really need to turn down the boost a little until the knock goes away. Either that or upgrade the fuel system with bigger injectors and fuel management.
