Art Price Jr., 40, of Bellevue Ohio, a married man with three school-aged kids, was having an affair; a very public affair on his front porch. At the very least he could depend on his partner to keep the affair quiet. He was having sex with his picnic table! Thanks to an anonymous neighbor who videotaped some of the sessions, Art now faces 4 felony counts of indecent exposure.

According to Bellevue Police Captain Matt Johnson Price was seen on four occasions between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and noon having sex with his picnic table. What makes this a felony, Johnson says, is that it took place in close proximity to a school, Ridge Elementary, and a playground which made it likely that children could have seen him. The neighbor, who wishes to remain anonymous, saw Price walk out onto his deck, stand a round metal table on its side and use the hole in the umbrella to have sex. The most recent instance took place on March 14th. According to NBC Toledo, Ohio, affiliate WNWO-TV, the videos show Price tilting the metal round picnic table on its side and then laying up against it to have sexual intercourse with the table. Afterward, he can then be seen cleaning the table and the deck.

PUTTING THE "FUN" BACK IN FUNERALS: The city of Providence, R.I., has
issued a license for a new Irish pub in town. Such isn't normally big
news, except that the license was issued to the Monahan Funeral Home,
and the pub will be inside the mortuary. Publican Mark Russell says the
mortuary has been in business in Providence since 1876, and promises
that "We'd never allow something to develop that would be adverse to
the neighborhood." (WPRI-TV) ...Locals, however, are glad to finally
have a place where they can drink in the mourning.

COMPACT CRIMINAL: A Walmart store in Alliance, Ohio, called police to
report a man had wheeled an estimated $1,000 worth of merchandise out
of the store without paying for it. When officers arrived they chased
after the suspect, but lost him in the darkness. They searched for 40
minutes before a frantic 911 call: "I'm in the back of a trash truck
that keeps compacting me!" James Brienzo, 37, had apparently hidden
from police in a trash dumpster, which was picked up minutes later. "He
was pretty well compacted" by the time officers found the right truck,
Police Chief Scott Griffith said. Brienzo was so intertwined with the
6-8 tons trash that the truck had to dump its load to free him, and he
was hospitalized in critical condition. His arrest record filled 26
pages, including a previous arrest at the same Walmart. (Canton Times-
Reporter, WJW-TV) ...Think he learned his lesson this time? Nah, me
either.


THE KIND THIEF: A professor at Umea University in northern Sweden was
upset when his laptop computer was stolen. It wasn't so much the
computer, but the data. "Unfortunately, I have been bad at backing up
my computer," he lamented. The professor asked to remain anonymous; he
was noted only as being a leader is his field. A week later, he got a
surprise in the mail: a memory stick that was taken with the computer.
The thief had backed up the professor's data, and sent it to him. "I am
very happy," the professor said. "This story makes me feel hope for
humanity." (Sweden Local) ...Ah, so he's a sociology professor.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DUMB: A Boulder, Colo., man accused of the attempted
murder of a Longmont police officer has had his day in court. Brandon
Duke, 22, told investigators that he believed that Officer David Blake
was a zombie. Blake was trying to arrest Duke on an outstanding
warrant, and Duke fired several shots from a handgun at Blake in his
attempts to get away, court records show. Duke testified that he had
"blacked out" and couldn't remember what happened, but thought he was
being chased by a zombie and had fired only to protect himself. At his
court appearance, where he addressed the judge simply with "yes, ma'am"
and "no, ma'am", Duke pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

and "no, Mistress of the Darkness", he'd have helped his case
immensely.

BBC News - Judge rules inmate 'bitten on penis by rodent' may sue

A New York man who says a rat bit his penis during a jail stay may sue county officials, a judge has ruled.

Peter Solomon, who said he later had to endure a course of rabies jabs, says jailers knew the ward in which they placed him was infested with rodents.

He says the jail was negligent and mistreated him because he is black.
