    The End of an Era

Now that I got the 3000GT "done" I figured it was time to dispose of the Stealth shell, since all it was doing was taking up space at this point and I had already robbed all the stuff I could off of it. It really hurt my soul to have to come to this but it is done.

At the start of the day

    First removed the core support

    Then the front frame rails

    Windshield

    Roof

Firewall. I probably should have done that in two pieces because that sumbitch was heavy.

    Main floor pan

    Rear seat tray

While cutting the quarter windows out the remainder of the car slipped and fell off the stands

I flipped over the remainder to make it easier

    Cut that into 3 pieces

    Gone.

    Cleaned up

Actual parking spot for the Lancer

Now at least if I run across a project/flip car I can get it without feeling like I have "too many" cars in the driveway. It feels so odd to not have that car any more. The car lives on in the 3000, but it isn't 100% the same.

It gave you all it had, Bri.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Had to laugh. My nephew came over today and saw that the car was gone. He asked me why I cut it up? I asked him what I was supposed to do with it and he was like "Fix it up so I can drive it."

That was like watching a carcass wither away. Hopefully she donated plenty of useful parts.
