Anyone ever have an oil pump leak?

I have an oil leak from what seems to be the oil pump gasket. There is a tab on rear of the pump gasket, and it appears to be leaking just below that, which drips down to the pan and to the ground.

There's another leak from the 'right-center' oil pump bolt, at least, it starts from it or right next to it. I pulled the bolt out but the hole is dry, not sure wtf that one is. Crack in the pump maybe?

I replaced the gasket and it still leaks. I can feel a small gap at the bottom right corner of the block (when facing the timing belt) where it meets the oil pump. Almost like a chunk of the block chipped off right there at the corner. If someone could verify whether or not there is supposed to be a gap there, it would be of great help. I can stick my finger nail in-between the block and pump there.

If anyone has any similar experience, throw it at me because I'm running out of ideas (and patience).

Oh yeah, forgot to update the thread. It was that damn block plug above the oil pump, needed moar thread sealant tape. Was running down the front and side of the oil pump.

I say damn block plug because I've had that issue before, just didn't use enough tape this time to seal it. Still don't know why the machine shop doesn't do it when they put them back in.

Been there.....twice! I did two rebuilds back to back on two different cars. Afterwards, one was leaking from the same plug as yours, right above the oil pump. And the other was leaking on the opposite end of the block behind the flywheel. Removed the plugs, taped them up real good, cursed the machine shop, and problems solved.
