rack n pinion axle compatibility 1G 2G

I've got my '94 Stealth R/T TT, engine is out of it NOW.

-My rack-n-pinion steering is leaking, the rack, and it has been struggling when it is real cold.

-My Axle half-shaft bearing that bolts to the block is bad needs replaced.


I just bought a '93 VR4 (green) that was sitting outside for 5 years, drove it back to my shop gingerly, going to use this car for my 4G63 swap! (long time planned)
Seeing as it's NYE and I'm working on cars with what I got here and business closed for a couple days, What's compatible between the 93 and 94 AWD: -axles -rack-n-pinion?

On my white Stealth, I'm installing all the parts, timing belt water pump seals etc, Fidanza flywheel ACT2600 PP new stock clutch disc, 13G turbos HKS sidemount intercoolers, AWS delete and rear camber arms, Tein coilovers (for an EVO, with rear adapters), afpr, more! I need to cap the rear power steering lines anyway for this AWS delete. So just trying to figure what I can swap and what I need to wait for.


I can get some bluetop 450cc injectors from a local buddy, and I got a MAF Translator Pro I wasn't expecting to use, sweet I think I'm going speed density. I still need a GM MAP sensor and an IAT sensor and I think a connection wire that plugs between factory mitsu MAF harness and the translator pro.

mitsu dealer says parts are same, from Jun 93-on for the power steering rack,
and from mid 92 -on for the left cv axle full assembly w/ support bearing
(no luck for me)

This AWS delete will get rid of power steering lines on BOTH sides of the car frame rails running front-back (4 lines), and require 2 block-offs on the rack itself and 2 block-offs on the PS fluid reservoir, huh.
