    Turbos

As some of you already know, I've been building turbos for these cars at my shop for quite some time... Certainly not a full time deal, as I've got plenty other stuff going on, but when the need arises, I wanted to have the capability.

I've always outsourced the balancing to a local turbo shop, but that dried up when he decided to retire and closed the doors. That brought about a decision time for me, and I jumped in feet first... I purchased a balancing machine, and stepped up the turbo side of the business. If any of you are in need of turbos, Give me a call at the shop or PM me here, or message me on Facebook.

The vast majority of what I build are TD04 variants... I can do stock rebuilds, up to 20T builds, and anything in between.

Below is a series of pics I took documenting my last 20T build. This set got 11 blade HL turbines with a slight clip, and a set of Drweldin's wastegate upgrades.

Contact info for the shop is:

Nice Larry. What is special about the Drweldin wastegates?

It was a kit he was building that would allow you to cut open and make stock wastegate springs replaceable. It came with 11 psi springs.

Probably needs to be on a case by case basis... If you are going to use a standard TD05H turbine, and a 16G/18G/20G wheel size, there is a ton of really cheap aftermarket stuff out there that's probably cheaper than the setup and labor time to machine something. Making custom hybrid stuff may have a different answer.
