there IS a record i'm aiming for...but if i get too specific, it'll probably be out of reach by the time i have the $$$ to run for it.

T2 is basically chris's personal car SLTT in the hands and ownership of 3SX. It weighed more then T4 even though it was FWD, and was really a street car with tons of HP. Chris is a manual trans guy. Never a FWD ATX.

Just to note, the current record for a streetable ATX dodge neon is 8.8 seconds.

i like it. i just wish i'd converted a 2g tt. it wouldn't matter if it was a weekend car; but since it's my dd, it's a nightmare trying to insure it for what it's actually worth. i've given up on that, and it's now POPD coverage.

progressive has aftermarket coverage. I could have 30k worth of coverage on my rebuilt-title Spyder SL. you just need to keep your receipts, and/or show proof of work done.

with what? it's not like you get a formal, itemized receipt for having an AWD conversion done at a dealership. all i have is a trail of paypal transactions and a few 3sx bills of sale. having read NUMEROUS stories from vr4 owners about how hard they have to fight just to NOT have the car totaled; i've pretty much accepted that i'm royally screwed. hence the minimal insurance, and i'll be saving what little money i can from my lower premiums--towards the purchase of my next car.

    F**K insurance companies.
