    Oil Restrictor

I've just had an engine fail, an engine I rebuilt from scratch. One of the big end shells picked up and damaged the crank, all other shells damaged. Oil pressure was good which leads me to the question, is there an oil restrictor I've missed out in the block to head when I rebuilt it?

Read on another forum that there is an oil restrictor? Can anyone confirm where t should be?
I'll have to strip it down to recheck the pistons but I suspect the restrictor (if there is one) is missing and I starved the bottom end.
