I only buy/drink beer on VERY special occasions, anymore.

I believe I've had 2 in the past five years or so.

Who said ANYTHING about YOU drinking ANY BEER????????????????????????? The beer is for ME...............as compensation for all the pain and suffering I'll go through to get this radio fixed, especially considering I'm electronically challenged/incompetent. I remember when the only FM radio content was classical. AM RULED. The sound quality sucked, but, when the atmosphere was just right, I could get KTLA loud and clear in Falls Church, VA.

So what was different about the new antenna that fixed your issue versus the test antenna you tried previously?

It was actually connected to the pigtail that plugs into the antenna wire going to the radio. Not sure how it happened, but the thing broke internally, as best I can tell.
