    Custom Pin 35 Output

    Hello all,
Can you tell me if it is possible to change the control parameters of the Custom Pin 35 Output of the Chromed ECU?
I want to use it to switch a magnetic decoupler to the front prop (project car) when certain conditions are met; brake light switch, handbrake switch, speed etc.

I'd need it activated above a certain rpm but no load from the start line 4wd. (rpm trigger maybe but no load)
Deactivated for high speed cornering to reduce understeer (so lower load).
Activated out of the corner for traction (higher load)
    Deactivated under braking. (no load)
Deactivated with handbrake. (relay cut maybe)
Maybe I could use a spare input (even if only an on/off 5v) as a steering angle input?

Can i edit the XML so that the TPS greater than rather than less than? (that way the launch control feature would give me a high TPS for start)

BTW, decoupler I'm thinking of is from A Mitsu Outlander (same unit as on the Jeep Patriot and other marques). I believe this is an on/off decoupler rather than a current controlled variable rate clutch you'd find in aSubaru perhaps.

Software editing is over my head, but I thought I'd point out another idea for you... I what's in place works backward from what you need, it might be possible to switch your system to a normally on system, and dictate when it turns off.

Must be a way to flip the rpm trigger to greater than, be simple then. Surely it's an equation somewhere.

The guy you need is Greg and he's done with messing with or updating Chrome. You'd have to contact him directly to see if he'll help, as he doesn't visit forums anymore, probably facebook is your best bet. https://www.facebook.com/greg.ellingson.3

I have a feeling your best bet for meeting all your activation criteria is a separate controller unit as a single table output can't do what you listed.

Also all you need to invert a signal is a relay if that's what's stopping you.

Guess that's what I get for starting late :-)
My first tuning session with Chrome is bout 10 years after most were dabbling with it. Still it's coming together and my little 4wd car goes like stink!
I had a reply from Adam who says there is actually a bug in the software anyway that means the TPS activation actually works as greater than and not less than as it says in ECUFlash. This means it will do the job I want it to after all. With a relay and the earth circuit via the handbrake switch, plus and input from the brake switch, problem solved.

Thanks for the replies (and your memories)
