What's it worth? 1991 Stealth RT/TT

Since my 99 doesn't seem to be selling and the offers I'm getting aren't worth me parting with it, I need to think about selling my Stealth

It's a 1991 Stealth RT/TT, Mystic Blue with Charcoal leather interior.

It is completely stock except for engine trans and K&N filter(probably revert back to stock air box before selling)

It has a clean title, ~165,000 miles on the body, 130,000 on motor, trans and TC. The engine and trans were updated with 1993 4 bolt engine and 25 spline. ECU and harness is also from the 93 and the ECU was rebuilt by ECM Tuning(The DSM link folks)Engine sounds good with no lifter tick that I've noticed, although I haven't driven it much.

Interior is decent with a small tear in the driver bolster. The seat bottom seems kind of shiny and smooth from wear, I suppose, but otherwise in good shape. Pass door panel is in good shape. Drivers is bubbling quite a bit. Steering wheel seems to be faded as well but coul dpossibly be replaced from my parts car.

Exterior needs some work. Front end has he normal debris marks on hood and fenders. Tops of the right quarter and top of the door is faded almost white. A previous owner tried to touch up the flat black parts of the sideskirts(in the fenderwell and got a little overspray outsid eof the line. It may buff out, but I haven't tried it yet. In that process, It looks like they also spray painted the inned fender plastic as well. It looks OK until you get a closer look. Rear bumper needs repainted.

I'd ask about 5k and take 4700

If you're selling it locally, a sign on it for 5k is what I would do. If you are trying online, I think 3500 is closer to fair value.

Definately aim high but take the closest cash offer honestly. It varies so greatly in soooo many areas honestly. Ask for as close to $5k and run with like $4,500.

Ok, thanks for the input. that's about where I was thinking as well. I don't think I could let it go for 3500.00 though. Just not enough to be worth selling it.

I just sold one with 70k miles on it and a mint interior for $6500, so your 3500 is a more realistic number. I'd post it up for $4500 and see what happens.

This is my fear. Hardly seems worth repairing any of them. Guess that's why so many are getting parted

it's getting harder and harder to justify fixing and reselling the ones that come through our doors. Most times, we just cover what we have into the cars when we sell them.

I'm just really hoping the value starts going back up soon. LOL
