Last year Paypal rolled out a program to instantly transfer money from your paypal balance to your bank account for a 25 cent fee if you had a linked debit card. Very handy tool that prevented your money from being in limbo waiting for it to hit your bank account days after being pulled from your paypal...

Just went to transfer some funds, and they want to charge 1% for that service now...

On the plus side I guess, they're now claiming a normal transfer into your bank account will only take one business day. I can probably live with that without getting an attitude about them hanging onto my money for a couple unneeded days.
