July 2014 COTMWe follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

A good one, too.
I was going to write some shit talking about trailering a street car to play in parking lots and all that, but really I'd be a hypocrite in some way.
Competed at the Oscoda ProSolo this weekend. Pulled off a 1/2 in class with my codriver, Jon Car was feeling really good, neither of us really nailed a run we were truly happy with, but Jon really pressured me on Sunday!

A tribute to video study...nicely done.
I helped design the course today on one of our little lots. I drove pretty well, but man the car just wasn't good on this course/surface. Pulled off a 5th in PAX and a tiny margin over Jon.

Sounded like Jon got a LOT more rubber than you did...sure couldn't tell what the problem was from your run.
Won my class at NEPA, 7th in PAX. Car was feeling good before heading off to SCCA Solo National Championships!
First up was the SCCA ProSolo Finale. I ended up 4th for the year with not my best driving. I put together a really solid run on the left side but had red lit on the tree and that was that. Could have won, but oh well.

Here's my videos from Solo Nationals in Lincoln, NE. Good for 2nd in CS. Not very happy with my East course run. Those slow 90 degree corners with walls or other pinches on exit sucked. If I never see those again I'll be happy Otherwise the East course was awesome. West course was also a ton of fun, and I drove it much better (slalom was a little sloppy on this run, found ~1.5 tenths on run 3 but blew other stuff by changing setup and making the car too pushy)

Jon's runs. He struggled with the silly 90 degree corners on East more than me (thanks to him for warning me that they sucked!) and he put together like 95% of a run beating me on West course but ended up overshooting a corner
