NNJR was a bit of a mess, I was planned to drive my buddy Evan's RX-8 in STX but the driveshaft exploded in carbon fibery-goodness... I ended up running my car with my buddy in heat two. First heat my car run with Jon as usual and another buddy, Mike.

    My run, 6th in PAX:

Today Philly SCCA hosted a "Mini-Tour" event where your best AM & PM runs were combined on two different courses. The weather made a bit of a mess of the afternoon, but it was fun! I won PAX by ~1.3 seconds and I won my class by a bit over 1.5s. Really dominant performance!

The Miata is working great with a little tweak after last weekend. Super happy with it, though my driving wasn't perfect it was more than enough!

NNJR SCCA had a special STR class challenge today that they called "STRmageddon" where both drivers in a car added the two drivers' fastest runs from their first five runs. Jon and I won that and won a TireRack gift card and a Karcepts gift card.

I won PAX and was 2nd fastest raw time only behind an STI with aero on gigantic Hoosiers... by a couple of tenths of a second.

    Here's my run:

Here's Jon's run. Jon tied for 3rd in PAX and 4th in raw time!

Boy, Doc, I don't know how much more she's got in her, but this dial-in is a treat to watch.

My ear for Mazdas isn't super well-developed, it sounds like you're close to maxed-out and you still have good revs left.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Great weather, lots of fun, super challenging course! I pulled off the PAX win and Jon codrove but I had a guest driver Wally (tall 350Z driver) as I owed him a codrive from a couple of years ago.

    Here's my run:

    Jon's run (P2 PAX, P2 in STR):

Wally's run (P6 in PAX, P5 in STR):

If I ever show up, you owe ME a co-drive.

Of course, I'd probably end up owing you a car, so...nevermind.
