Recommended machine shops in or around MI

    Hello All
Are there recommended machine shops in or near MI for machine work on the VR4s? Second question is there a current short block builder of good repute? Current addresses would be appreciated. On the other hand if there is a builder of sterling reputation (across the country) that a lot of folk have used please feel free to way in. Thanks, JDS

Josh Dace would know. Blanking on his handle right now. Uniono or something like that.

IPS is in central OH. IDK if they still do machine work on 3Ss, though.

John Whalen is a solid guy and knows his way around DSMs, Evos and Subarus. Shop does plenty of other cars as well. Located in Paw Paw Michigan, just west of Kalamazoo.

Go check them out. Actual shop, actual employees, dyno and all. Not some kid in his garage.
