Thread: Ran into a Supra..

    Ran into a Supra..

Nice black/black MKIV, never seen one while driving the VR-4 so though I'd have a go.. ROFL what a total MURDER! We went from about 80-90ish and up to whenever he let go a few buslenghts ahead.. I threw in the towel at around 130, at that point this was getting silly as I was getting totally slaughtered

Pulled into a gas station with him, owner was really nice and wanted to exchange cell # for future cruises and whatnot. Car was BPU and he put down 422rwhp..damn. Really clean car, he has a 3.4L stroker with a big single that's going in this winter so I'm fucked nomatter what I do for upgrades LOL.

Oh well, great guy and a really nice car.
Supras are MONSTERS from a roll!

Too bad I sold the 15G's this summer, I put down 397awhp with the AEM EMS and a stock catback last year. Not sure it would have made much difference anyway, except for being slightly less embarassing haha.

    Mods still on my car:
Full fuel with dual feed/dual pumps
    9b's at 16psi
    Full exhaust
    Stock smic
And a lot of other supporting mods, completely useless with the 9b's..

15gs and supporting mods will definitely be a good race from a roll with a bpu supra.

That is just ridiculous how they can put down that kind of power BPU. Is it dramatically different for us from a dig against a supra? Would he have a chance? With the awd and all..

AWD is a great advantage until you blow up your t-case/bellhousing/clutch/axle/endcase and then the FUNS OVER.

If we had gone from a dig I would probably put a few car lenghts on him, but with that kind of power it would only be a matter of time before he caught up with me again. That is of course assuming I wouldn't blow anything up with the launch..

Well, I would think my corner exit acceleration is better than his so I got him there. Until he catches up again, that is.. Damn supras LOL
