Um, You are on 9b's and expected to do well on pump gas vs a car with 422whp. I wouldn't say that supra is amazing, I would just say you are stock and I wouldn't expect to do much that way. I don't see it as a good comparison with what they have stock vs us. So you should be getting slaughtered. I wouldn't be praising the other car as much as looking how basic your upgrades/turbos are. With my (old) car I would have raced him with my 17g's and basic setup any day, and would have killed him from a roll. Just having the tiny td04 upgrades and a bit larger injectors, you could have kept up. Most Td04 turbos I categorize as a "stock" turbo, because it could have easily came from the factory with them. Why so serious? No need to overanalyze things, good for you that your 17G's would have killed him any day. I had a 526awhp eIII-16G td05 machine a few years back so I know what upgrades can do. I just think it's impressive that Supras can put down such healthy numbers with minimal mods. I give respect where respect is due, that car was certainly no slouch

I wasn't too serious. Glad you had fun. But I wouldnt race many turbo sports cars in a 9b car.

I didnt mean to insult you and I was more just sticking up for 3000gt's and hating on supras. I know it came off harsh but didnt mean it that way bro.

My main point: Supras com with the turbo and fuel stock that is not an even comparison bpu to bpu. And the small td04 upgrades and like 550cc injectors are rally almost like still stock. They arent much biggr, could have bn stock, and would make it a fair fight and on that I believe the 3s might win. I wasnt tooting my own horn. I just mentioned it as a small td04 upgrade that would have killed that supra! There are a couple that meet every weekend at a parking lot near my place and th guy with the single supra was always scared to race my 3s and they just dont impress me much. But they are still kinda cool to see though since kinda rare.

Once he goes 3.4 and big single, just stop at 120 and you'll be fine.

My friend Kyles supra didnt hit its stride until after 100mph. Useless fun, but fun. That was with high 700's at the wheels. He ended up having to run ET streets to hook up even from a 50-60mph roll on, it was his nice weather DD. Put about 35k miles on it with that setup, good cars but i cant see past how booooooooooooooooring they look and they draw as much attention as a Viper everywhere you go, it gets old quick..

At first i thought you meant you actually RAN into the supra. Btw. thats a SURE fire way to win a race AWD > RWD when push comes to shove. So remember kiddies, aim for the supra off the line, you'll be fine!
