    NLTS testing issues

    Hello!

I finally got around to wiring in the clutch switch to the ECU for NLTS.
Confirmed the switch is working by logging the switch on/off in evoscan.
I enabled the periphery bits 2/4 in the ROM.
Haven't change the limiter from what it was set to (5000rpm).

So went for a test run and could not get it to function.
I had the throttle at WOT and had the car up at 6500-7000rpm but could not get it to function.

I'm not ruling out how in shifting as a cause.
So if some one can give some insight that be great also.

double check that your WOT meets the WOT setting in the rom. Also NLTS uses the speed sensor to distinguish from launch control and NLTS RPM set points, so check Greg's thread to make sure if you have to be moving or not for it to work.

OK so its working. Not sure exactly why it wasn't working that previous day.

Perhaps it was my slow granny shifting and gaps somewhere in that.

Basically when wanting to use NLTS I need to give throttle the beans and just tap and shift into gears quickly. Really hammer gear changes in synch whilst leaving my foot planted.

Last test I did showed boost not dropping , rpm limited at 5000rpm as I had set.
Its still a bit scary and for the next time I head down to my local dragway will be good. Its not needed for normal driving really.
