Long story short, had to have an adapter made to join the turbo outlet to the pipe for my FMIC due to the headers being in the way. I had a boost leak and checked it out and it's coming from where the pipe and the adapter meet. I looked at the adapter and when I lay the metal gasket up part of it sticks in the airstream (about 1/8"). It is gonna cost an arm and a leg in my opinion to get another adapter made. Can I use this gasket material, or something like it? It doesn't get hot at the housing and want to say the material isn't porous. I am thinking of just opening up the metal gasket, but wonder if it will lose it's sealing affect.
