i guess in my mind i didnt realize there was a fuse for the alt. my mind must have thought since it starts & runs, if there was a fuse, its still must be functioning, but oh well. glad to be driving again! thx for the replys as per usual!
If you can, check at the battery and the alternator stud. Both while stopped and when running.
It's easier measuring on both sides of the alternator fuse but that leaves the harness between the alternator and the fuse in question.
While it very possible a new alternator is bad, it's more likely the alternator fuse is blown or the alternator isn't getting the energizing voltage to the L terminal to start with.
