That's my Lancer GTS. It's just the way it's parked on a slight hill making it look high. It's also not as low as the 3000 so that makes it look high too. LOL

The exterior is complete(ish). I actually installed the old center panel I had in the Stealth for now. I need to thoroughly clean the windows. The interior is still filthy and I hope to help that tomorrow too. I didn't get any more pictures yet. When I came home I unloaded both cars and put stuff away, then i fixed the mower and mowed til almost dark.

We'll see about getting some good pics in the next few days.

Man, that came out great. Ive been debating whether or not to do my own body work and paint on mine once it runs again.

100% honest I winged the body work. I mentioned before I've been around it, just never did it before. Same thing with paint. Always been around it, just never took the reigns to spray any big projects myself. If you want to learn about paint and gun set up I recommend watching Paint Society on YouTube. I used his recommendations on gun set up and watched a few vids of him painting stuff to try to learn better technique.

I was getting pretty good when I broke my wrist for the second time, way back when.

I still get the urge to do it, but then I remember I'm fucking old and prolly couldn't finish what I started.

Good on you for sticking with it and getting it done, it looks fantastic.

I might've missed it, but what gun did you use?

On the first attempt I used one of my cheap Harbor Freight guns. The initial results were not the result of the gun as I and many others have laid down smooth paint with one before. Heck when I spot sealed I used one of the cheap Harbor Freight guns and it laid very nice.

Anyway my cousin had just gotten the Devilbiss starting line gun set and that's what I used. A good gun doesn't make a good painter but a good painter can make about any gun good.
