nope, the 4th plug is for the extra connections available with the flash ECU as stated on the site I linked
Stock 1G VR4 ecus have three plugs. There are 4 plugs on the 1G PNP Flash Ecu.
The 4th plug is a gray 12 position plug (included) for all the extras inputs and outputs the Flash ecu offers. You can just plug the stock three plugs in the PNP Flash Ecu and your car will start and run fine. To use the flash pin (51 on 91-93 PNP Flash Ecus), WBO2 logging, boost logging, ect. you will have to wire them up.

Followed the steps on this but can't get a 12v feed on pin 77 on the jester (57 on the OEM).
    Any suggestions?

still no spark but I can communicate with the jester ecu with an obd reader which is a start :-) (if I use a different 12v supply that is)

Seems I have no power at pins 10, 11 & 23 from the ECU to coil power pack, according to the manual should be 0.4 - 5v.
Could a faulty crank sensor cause that?
