    AMD Sucks

That is all, their shit is broken and they seem to not care. First foray back to AMD in years, and I have a paperweight of 2 r9 290 cards since crossfire is broken. Only response from AMD was "we are aware of the issue, sorry." Lovely.

I feel your pain. AMD has been on a downward slope for quite a while now. I have the same cards at home in water cooled desktop and each time I have to touch the damn driver it gives me new problems.

I have exclusively used AMD for all my home builds. 0 issues. I actually have 2 r9 290x's in my current setup. Runs flawless on my 3440x1440 34'' 100hz freesync monitor. Also have my FX-8350 clocked at 5.1 on air. Has been that way for 2 years so far and works great. No issues here!

Do your cards actually crossfire? I've tried like 10 drivers, and none of them let me crossfire my cards, radeonpro can't even force crossfire, 2nd card just sits idle, never does anything. I know AMD disabled crossfire in elite dangerous as a "hotfix", and ED refuses to fix it since they are now an nvidia supported game. I have no problem running stupid resolutions and multi monitors, but unless I have something plugged into the 2nd card it's idle, and settings show the 2nd card as disabled and no option to crossfire.
