Prolly my very first TV crush - much later, a huge proponent for diabetes research (my daughter was diagnosed at age 8) - she hosted a large diabetes confab at the International Diabetes Center in Minneapolis we attended.

She was - as a diabetic herself - a tremendous advocate.
