    4ws oil

So I bought a '99 vr4 and while driving it home I hear a pop and make it to the next gas station only to notice the power steering was stiff. I pop the hood and sure enough the power steering fluid was low and there was a bit of fluid all over the place. I top off the fluid and continue on my way only to hear a knocking which sounds like the engine was knocking but didn't accelerate when stepped on the gas so I'm thinking it's the 4ws system? Had anyone else had this problem? I have topped off the power steering fluid 3 times now so there is an obvious leak. I have not been able to find any info on the situation.

I came across a site for 3sx aws delete kit, is this something I should consider?

First and foremost you must determine where you are leaking fluid from.

    ^What that guy said.

If the car is from the rust belt, I'm going to say it's one of the RWS lines under the car broke, specifically one of the flex lines from the front rack to the hardline. I've seen those go even in moderately rusted 3S's.
