I'll also double check the ROM and make sure I didn't miss any peripheries. I had worked my way through the sticky step-by-step when I originally set up the ECU... but like I said it's still possible I missed one.

The car is not a swap, one sensor was replaced while I was rebuilding my rear subframe and upgrading the bushings and swaybar... due to a bit of carelessness on my part with the torch :-/ So the comment may well still be valid if I was sent the wrong sensor.

Seems like you have quite a job working on a car 3 hours away.

Speed sensor is probably right one if it was a direct replacement.
The reference i made was related to if the type of speed sensor used as the mechanical and electronics speed sensors are vastly different (you would know if it was the mechanical one as it doesn't have a wiring loom but rather a direct feed into the back of the dash cluster for speedo)

Yep get a hold of the most recent version of evoscan and see what DTC's show up.
