    Mivec engine swap

hey guys its been awhile ive updated my car alot since i was last on everything is working good now. New exhaust, evo 8 wheels, new ptu, ecu, coils, starter, alternator, and fuel filter the car has never run better. one thing id like to know is if its possible to swap the heads from the Diamante 30m. the engine seems to pop up every once in awhile on ebay and i was wondering if a head swap is possible onto the my 93 n/a base and if anyone has done it before. ive heard about putting in the eclipse mivec but for this thread i want to just talk about the 6g72 mivec in the diamante.

The biggest issue is as far as I know there is no way to take advantage of the MIVEC capabilities.

To my knowledge no one has ever done it. Lots have talked about it. Are the 72 MIVEC heads an improvement in flow? I know the 75 heads are. Would be really neat

You can't swap the whole engine, just swap the heads.

It's been done a handful of times and is certainly worth while if you're after "free" power, there are a few other modifications required to make it work though.....definitely not a bolt on job.

the 72 MIVEC heads have been swapped? You have any links to posts about this? Or are the 72 and 75 MIVEC heads the same?

Can't you go with a ECU that has MIVEC capabilities like MS3? I've considered doing this as well.
