Here's a better picture where I circled the hose that comes from the BOV to the Y PipeBOV_YPIPE.jpg

Swap the y-pipe end of the BOV and the plenum side of the Boost controller.

You should have a vacuum line going from BOV to Plenum.

I'm sorry for not knowing exactly the terminology you speak of, but here's another picture. Are you telling me to swap these two lines?

Also, in you saying there should be a vacuum line going from my BOV to plenum, would me swapping the two lines in this picture do that? There seems to be only one cable coming out of my BOVthisone.jpg

I just came across this diagram which seems to tell me to swap those two hoses I circled in the picture. I guess I just want an affirmation principt2.gif

Well, I ended up swapping those cables and my BOV started making its blowoff sound again!! Thank you so much! I suppose my turbos not building pressure very quick is another issue. I also turned up my boost controller and that helped, but it's just not like it was before. I know I need to have them redone anyway. I can't express enough gratitude for you taking your time and effort to respond and help me!

MBCs bleed off boost, so if you used to be directly to the Wastegates, it will be slower but it's usually not noticeable. I wonder if something else is going on.

My friend who sold me the car has frequently mentioned that I need to do an intake compression test or boost leak test. I found two really cheap and easy ways to check for that, but that's where I think I'm going to start. Does that sound about right to you?

Edit: I forgot to mention that the car came with the MBC already installed by the guy who had it before me, so I wouldn't have ever had the chance to notice the difference.

Boost leak test is the clear next step.
