Someone needs to take the OP for a ride in one that has a verified 700+AWHP, and see if he still wants to shoot for 1000 after cleans his shorts...

I'm sure the first time he busts all four tires loose at 80+mph and has NO steering, he'll reconsider his plans.

I have always subscribed to the "there is no such thing as too much horsepower" theory, but if it's a street car on street tires, there is a point where it just isn't all that fun anymore...

Y'all are just jelly that the OP has some serious goals!

Id trust my little sister to pilot a 1000hp car, there is NO driver skills involved!

Look at Ray Pampena, Trevor and Matt Monet, just average Joe's. They woke up one morning and bolted on a turbo kit, easy peasy.

You guys need to stop trying to talk the OP out of this, he's set his goals and knows what he wants!

Better yet, his reasoning for wanting it is because... drumroll please... that's what he wants! Who can deny that logic!?

Hey Emerald, I am not sure what part of the country you are currently in, but from reviewing your posts, if you recently bought a modded vr-4 (or any vr-4) recently, your absolute best bet is going to be to find someone local to you that is in the know about high performance turbo cars in general and watch / learn from them. There are vr-4 owners all over the country, but even if no one is local to you, there is bound to be somebody that has tinkered with a car or two. There is a LOT of stuff you will need to learn and experience before dealing with 600+ HP. You may be able to pick that info from the internet, but without trying a good bit for yourself, it will be almost impossible to figure out what is BS and what isn't. I recommend finding someone local to you, reach out to them and ask for a lunch and learn to get started down this road. VR-4s are not the most simple cars to deal with so getting straight answers from someone willing to provide them will get you farther along than just questioning the web.

Just a little more proof to tell you that you aren't making 600 hp on 12 psi

    http://3squicklist.com/dyno.html

Jay Belknap known on the forums as VR4ever made "only" 513 hp on 17 psi on 16g's, and I would bet he had more additional mods than you have.

We're not telling you what we're telling you to piss you off, we are telling you to correct your misunderstanding. Seriously, go for a ride in a true 600 hp car then come back.

15(ish) psi with heads, cams, AEM, and a quality tune would get you slightly over 500. 600 at 12 psi on e316g's is not even remotely realistic.

I guess the OP has been busy plugging away in his garage working on getting twin T4's on?
