    Replacing turbos

I am looking into learning about replacing the twin turbos on my VR4. It contains 16g turbos and has Series 1 AEM Electronics. There is an Apexi gauge and an HKS boost controller, and a turbo timer also installed. The exact names of those are on a build list in my garage page.

What I want to ask and learn about is the following:
I am pushing 600HP with 12psi of boost. I am looking to put over the years 1000hp before I'm all done with the engine. For now, I am looking to get around 600-650HP but I want to also increase the amount of torque as well. I believe I am producing 404ft lb based on the paperwork that came with the vehicle but it is not the most accurate numbers I got in terms of HP and torque. I believe I may have 400-500ft lb torque but do not know how or even when I want to try to find an accurate number for this. Is it fesible to place slightly larger turbos in the vehicle? What should I be looking at performing on my vehicle to increase the torque and HP?

My end goals for the engine will be 1000-1200HP and at least 800ft lb of torque. This isn't needed for many years, but slowly and surely I will achieve it. I will want a 300M steel drive shaft and a twin disc clutch with pedal stop as well for that.

If you actually have 16Gs, 12psi isn't anywhere near enough to make 600hp on them. You would want to look at turning the boost up before going bigger.

Your best bet is to get the car on a dyno and see what it's actually making for power. You may need bigger injectors to increase the boost, but it's well worth it as 16Gs are really going to shine at 25-30psi. Look at improving your current output before deciding you need bigger.

As far as driveshafts, there is no 300M driveshaft, there are aluminum and carbon fiber options. 300M is what upgraded output shafts and input spools are made of.

He's probably thinking about 300M rear axles, but after he buys them from DSS he'll get a shock when they are weaker than stock axles and they won't warranty them.

LOL 600 horse on 12 pounds!

In order to get better performance, pay somebody to do it for you.

Aren't you the person with the nitrous question, browning shift dildo and the space age steering wheel?

Emerald... your question is incredibly naive... you gotta do some research. You're way off base right now.

Seeing as you just messaged me regarding what the red wires were in your engine bay, which are your spark plug wires, you just need to shut the hood on that car and step away.
