That's a nice shot, but it does make it look like your passenger has quite the mass.

I like the noise - almost sounds like a bike...

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
Does anyone make an Aluminum or composite skid plate for those cars yet? Given how low the front dips in the photo you may need one to avoid doing to your bumper cover what you did to your mud flap.
There are metal skid plates to replace the factory undertray, I actually helped install one on a buddy's RS last night. It just replaces the factory undertray though, not anything further forward... The OEM undertray has NACA ducts and scoops in it, and Ford made it out of fiber material. The scoops pick up snow, pack the engine bay with snow which pushes the undertray down, eventually scooping enough snow to push the undertray into the ground, lol.
Nobody makes a skid plate that extends forward enough to protect the bumper. I wish someone did though, I'd love to run a rallycross but the bumper lowness is a big concern.
My guess is that with a platform like the RS it will only be a matter of time before someone makes the parts. However you could always go the HDPE route like me. My splitter saved my bumper cover when my car decided 3 wheels was all I needed to run the road course at NG13.
There are splitters and such available, but shiny carbon isn't exactly what I'd want protecting my bumper, lol. There are more "race" oriented splitters on the way soon. Just takes time![]()
