    Turbo downpipe

Hey guys just bought a turbo model exhaust for my 93 base model is there any way with some tweaking I can make the downpipe fit?

Pretty much no on the downpipe. Could it be modified to work? Sure, but it would probably cost you more than a downpipe that already fits.

Difficulty to install depends on rust issues on the bolts. It also depends on clearance of the rear subframe. On stock TT exhaust installs on FWD there are clearance issues around the rear subframe. Some aftermarket TT exhausts clear without issue.

This is the go to link for TT exhaust on a NA showing what I mean.

Car can be rust free, but doesn't mean the bolts on the catback aren't rust welded.

Once the catback has been swapped swapping out the downpipe is cakework.
