Can anyone give me reasons the warning light is flashing?

Perhaps because the set threshold is being exceeded? You're not really giving much to go on in sense of what you are actually encountering.

It starts flashing the moment I turn the car on. It could be a short or it is set to low which I have not checked out. I downloaded instructions for the gauge and will further investigate those.
