Need help finding oem info by vin.

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to find info on the block, heads, etc that belong in my vehicle. Is there a site or something I can look up? Also how hard is it or what needs to be done to see the stamp on the block and heads when they are in the car.

Are you trying to determine if the parts are correct for the application? or are you trying to determine If they are actually the parts the car was built with?
