Hey peeps, so ive been reluctant to post but after tackling this for a few days, I figured id need some outside help.

So some back ground on the car.

Its been sitting for a few years, its a 94. Ive drained the fuel tank, and the sender was pretty nasty so i replaced it with a NA fuel sender after retrofitting it for a vr4.*

I bought a 1st gen engine and rewired the harness for the CAS. Gets spark, good compression, the only problem is i dont get any fuel to the rails. I ran a hotwire to the blue/black wire (correct me if im wrong) on the fuel pump connecter (also tried the black test connecter by the battery) and i could hear it working. Read 10.9 volts with a multimeter*

So i kept the power going for almost 30 secs and quit after my lead wire got hot. I had someone keep an eye on the unbolted hard line (feed)
And nothing.

Removed the hose clamp from the feed line back near the pump, and fuel drained out. So I went further down by the filter and pulled the feed line by removing the banjo bolt and there was fuel there, it just doesnt run down the feed line.

Im not sure what to do next. The pump is fairly new, about a year old.

Note: i thought since my car was jacked up, maybe the pump wasn't drawing any fuel, so I set the car on wheels and set it down, put power to the pump and nothing still. ..
Note:I also blew compressed air thru the feed line to clean it out and be certain there wasn't anything clogging it.

Is it the pump? I have 8 gallons of fresh premium sitting in there.

I can hear the pump working

Thanks in advance
