Taller 5th gear for 5speed TT tranny

I'm not sure how much is involved?? but interested in finding a taller gear for my 5 spd tranny! as opposed to changing completely over to a 6spd setup! thanks Jim(814)493-7199

It would be easier and cheaper to swap to a 6 speed.

Are you a TT or N/A?

There is already a taller 5th gear on the market for the N/A trans.

Made a world of difference for me on my old FWD TT car.

Edit: < Just saw that "TT" is in the title.

There isn't a taller 5th for the Getrag.

Its in the same solar system as "impossible" to do what you want.

    Go with the 6 speed.

I thought they made some few yrs back?? oh well was gonna go to 6spd but I like the gear ratio of 1st 5 of the 5spd! actually never drove a 6spd TT everyone says they like they can wind out the 5spd better, but would like to have best of both worlds(IE the 6th for open high way/gas mileage ect)
