I'm not much of a Meyer fan at all, I just think it would be funny as hell if he went chasing after (his boyfriend?) Tebow. Probably just a coincidence, but it is a bit suspicious in a comical way.

Malzahn to Florida?
I think he would bolt for Florida in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure Florida wants him. I think they're crazy not to want him, but from what I'm hearing they want a proven head coach and not a hot coordinator commodity.
It would be a perfect fit...but I want Malzahn!![]()
Though I figure if we beat N.C. State, we'll be stuck with Bill Stewart. Which isn't completely terrible as I hear our OC is a top pick to be HC of Kent State. Please oh please Kent State take this loser off our hands.
Jeremy
anyone Kent State could steal is a upgrade... MAC= pretty weak.
DOES ANYONE think Oregon stands any chance against Auburn... I think this is a joke of a NC game... imho...
seriously Oregon is going to get stomped. Playing the sisters of the poor...(minus Stanford)...
Didn't Ohio State stomp them in the dirt last year?
Well my school got slaughtered by Oregon 72-0. It's hard to not think they're indestructIble![]()
I love the nc matchup. Auburn played a tougher schedule, but they squeezed by in a lot of those games. Oregon soundly beat all teams except Cal. Auburn has Cam Newton and Oregon has a ridiculously fast paced offense. Both teams have a month to prepare for that. Oregon is going to practice against a scout team with a 230lb back at qb for a month and Auburn is going to practice against a no-huddle offense for a month. A scout team back is no substitute for Cam Newton and a scout team no-huddle offense is no substitute for Oregon, but both defenses will be more ready for what they're up against with so long to prepare. It is probably going to come down to which teams defense is able to handle the other teams x-factor better.
All we really have to go on is the Oregon win against Tennessee, which doesn't really tell us a whole lot. They blew out Tennessee, but so did Florida, Georiga, and Alabama. One important thing to take out of that is that Tennessee only scored 13 points in that game and that is on par to what they managed against the best of their SEC opponents. This may show that the Oregon defense is possibly as good as an "SEC defense." Of course that game was screwed up with a couple of weather delays that may have changed momentum and Tennessee was playing pretty poorly at the start of the season.
I don't see this game as a joke at all. It could end up being a blowout in either direction, but I think it is more likely to be a close game. I would personally like to see an Oregon blowout just to make a bunch of these analysts look stupid, but it's hard for me to take sides on this one. I took Oregon @ 20-1 to win the BCS, but I like to see SEC teams dominate bowls.... I guess I win either way.
