Cross Country Road Trip! Advice?

So i am looking at a 2200 mile cross country road trip, 3 days at most. My vehicle, the 95 vr-4 has a rebuilt engine with 30k miles on it. The engine is heavily modded, with custom piping, larger turbos, AEM etc. I am 99% confident in the ability of the engine to go that far without issues. Brand new tires. Battery 6 years old. The chassis, transmission are stock with 136k on them. This car is built to act as a high performance engine, meant for speed. Knowing this about the vehicle, what would you personally do with it and why? It's a solid engine, but I do plan to keep this vehicle for a LONG time 10-20 years or more, is it really worth the mileage to put on it, if it isn't set as a DD? I want something to be able to show off at car shows, and keep it special. What would you do with your 3s? What should I do with mine?

Option 1: Get paid to drive it, risk pretty much only with the tranny getting a problem along the way (136k stock with no issues other than baby 2nd and 3rd gear syncros when cold. Slow shifts provide no issues to this problem). Go on the offensive, but am I putting a beating on my engine doing this? How much trouble could I expect from a 2.5/3 day 2200 road trip? (can't afford any delays) Bank leftover money, if any. Look at maintenance needed to be performed after trip.

Option 2: Have it shipped, save miles and usage on engine and tranny, wheels, tires, etc. but costing out of pocket $1100 or more to have done properly with a trusted reputable company. Go on the defensive to protect wear and tear.

I've done 4 6k+ round trips in my 98 and it's been awesome every time.

That is in MY car thought that I have owned for 6 years and performed all the maintenence myself. I don't think I would do it in a car I just bought and didn't have experience with.

Just drive it. IMO you're past the "collectible" millage. I mean, what's the point in having a car you don't drive?

The most unfortunate thing about owning such a car - specifically talking 3S, here - is to miss an opportunity to enjoy it.

This happens TOO often to us.

I bought my car in Colorado and drove it home through the worse winter storm of 2010.

I wouldn't have missed it for the world - best time I have EVER had on the road.

Do as we say - DRIVE IT!

Well I do in all entirety thank everyone for the advise, but knowing that I have a modded, high performance engine that I need to maintain, something with AEM, a true tuner vehicle that isn't built to take longer trips; thusly I've decided to not drive it, as much as it can be done, I need to think about what is best for the engine to protect and take care of it. I do love to hear what opinions yall have about the longest road trip you have taken in your 3/s or other vehicle, and how much you drive them in respect to the maintenance you perform on them.
