Let me post up the rest of the new stuff...

    PCV valve
    o2 sensors
    FPR, Wires
    plugs
    throttle body
    ecu
    coolant temp sensors
    TPS
    swapped out MAF
    new fuel filter
    new strainer and pump
    new injectors
the turbos have been replaced but the rear does leak a little oil...working on getting replacements but they are sealed, pressure tested them too.
    all gaskets
    no cats

seriously...the only thing it could be are the coils.

Try hotwiring power to the coils. Sometimes the wiring gets weak and causes a major voltage breakdown. The problem I have with it being coils or the wiring is that you said at part trottle it will rev to redline. What do the coils care how much throttle you are giving it, to them 7k is 7k.

I drove the car a little while ago and it will still stall slightly but when I give it full throttle, it won't budge no matter what RPM I'm in. At idle, I can free rev it 100% and it will stop at around 4300~4500 no higher.

The tps and MAF have just been swapped out with used units btw...the coils have never been replaced as far as I can remember. The rear turbo is no longer glowing and the car has plenty of power waiting to be released, I can feel it unlike before where it was sluggish.

You could measure the voltage at Coil+

This is what I did to my car when I had same symptoms as yours..

had another tech look at the car today. He noticed a small skip at idle and the skip still remained at 2500 RPM. He thinks I have a coil about to crap out. I was unable to get coils today so I am going to try again tomorrow.

Did you ever check the fuel pressure?

yea it is actually high at idle with the new regulator. The guy who looked at the car said if coils don't fix it, turn up the boost as it might be flooding itself.

If it were mine I'd be pulling the plugs and having a close look at them.

    Steve
It's leaking through the exhaust seal, I bench tested before I put it back on but didn't have another to replace it with. The plugs look great now, I just checked them yesterday...no uneven burn like before and no odd smells either.

also, when I set the plugs gap at 35 i noticed a difference, I was able to rev it higher. Then we gapped them to 34 yesterday and I can rev it to 5k now...lol
