If you have a Formula SAE club, definitely get involved! You can fill your resume with design experience from that one club.
Of course!!! I just got back from the shop. Had to checklist the car for tomorrows test day. Formula SAE ROCKS!!

Just updating it with what I see down here.

I've been in Tucson for 2 years now. As soon as I can afford to move, I'm out of here. This is a state that you will either love or hate - it's very polarizing as it's such a one-trick state. If you don't like mexican food, southwestern styled houses, cactus, and sand storms, then this place isn't for you. If you are a person who worships the sun and wants leather skin by your mid 40's, then by all means get down here!

Nope, graduated a few years back with an Automotive Technology degree from college back in NY where I'm originally from. My brother did get his MBA from ASU and I know he would recommend the school. I'm still tinkering with the idea of going back for another degree before I'm too old, and I would likely choose ASU if I could make the money work out.

Fair enough assessment The weather alone is enough to make me stay. I've only been here for a short amount of time, but the many people that I've met have all been great. It's a very diverse group of people here which is relatively new to me, but since I have no problems with them I doubt they have problems with me. For the most part, everyone is a transplant from another part of the country and has stories about their hometown, which where I'm from, everyone has been there their entire life and that's that. The only folks that I've met that don't like it here are the ones that actually have lived here their entire life and are ready for something different, which is understandable.. that is actually why I moved in the first place.

Awesome....it would definitely be nice to have an area like that. Here, there are three frat houses a few blocks away. Other than that, a few bars on main street, but obviously that's the 21+ crowd.
