Here's a fun part, the twin scroll single wastegate configuration. This can be done but takes a bit of patience to get it to work correctly. A twin scroll has to keep both exhaust sides separate from each other all the way to the turbo. Using a singe gate means building a divider that will keep these apart until the gate begins to open. Here's a hot tip/theory. When the gate is closed, it's a twin scroll. When the gate begins to open it switches to a merge collector. Draw your own conclusions as to why this is cool.![]()
