    Another issue tuning with chrome

ok so another issue with chrome. Tuning a friends car, right now stock injectors. New o2's. Harness has been gone through and is rebuilt and working as it should. Start the car with a stock tune and latencies and the o2s will not cycle at all. Fuel pressure is fine at 43.5 psi. Wideband shows 16-17 afr. Long term trims are off at the moment. Every now and then the front will cycle, and we can plug the front O2 into the rear and get signal on the rear in evoscan. We have been fighting this car for 6 months now since we installed chrome to get it to run right with a stock tune and injectors. Replaced almost every part related to fuel and spark with oem. Nothing we do will get the dammed o2's to cycle!! Wtf??

    Check it out on Youtube!!

You state "O2's will not cycle at all", and "we can plug the front O2 into the rear and get signal on the rear in evoscan"

You are using the rear harness connector to plug into the front o2?
If so does the rear o2 cycle in evoscan plugged into the rear harness?

If so it sounds like the front harness has a break in it.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

SO the front works every now and then and bottoms out and stays there. We can confirm that the wiring is good as when the front O2 works, if I hook it to the rear then in Evoscan it will cycle, plug it back into the front and it will cycle. Yes I am physically plugging the front and rear o2 into the opposite connector. Bosch O2's come with a ton of slack.

This is not a wiring issue. I completely removed the entire harness from the car, unwrapped it and checked every wire and fixed any loose connections on the plugs.

Gonna fire up the other computer and upload the tune/log file.

I just did a fresh win10 install, and do not have ecu flash installed yet. Is the ecu set to read off one o2, or both?

Seems at the limits of my knowledge it would have to be an o2 circuit fault, or an incorrect pin out sending unexpected data. Mine did some weird shit when the pins were reversed, but not like that. They at least cycled.

This is a stock flash, only things turned off are the 99 stuff, EGR, ect. Long term fuel trim is also off to help get idle tune in properly.

No a wire or switched pin/O2 issue. Swapping the O2's in the engine bay confirmed they are correct and logging correctly. If it was a wiring issue then hooking the Front to the rear plug would have shown the front cycling and not the rear in Evoscan.

This is specifically something with Chrome ECU. it is not an engine, or wiring issue. I ahve literally pulled parts off my running car onto this one swapping various components trying to get shit to work.

Periphery 0 should never be touched. Stock injectors doesn't mean a stock tune. A stock car means a stock tune.

If you can't get it to work with a flash ECU and it doesn't work with a stock ECU then you're missing something. Maybe that rebuilt harness isn't quite working as it should.

Harness works fine, When the front O2 is working I can plug it into the rear O2 harness and it registers on evoscan as it should. As I said this is not a wiring issue. I have gone through and checked each and every wire of the O2's and Injectors with a multimeter and they are all good. the injectors he is running are my stock 360's that came from my personal car and it was running perfect on them.

At this point at idle it is a stock car. Turbo's don't mean anything at idle, neither does ths FMIC. It is only idling. The pistons are 10:1 so it should be running rich off of the stock tune but it is not. I even dropped the injector scaling down to 330cc's and bumped the fuel pressure up to 60 psi and the rear will not cycle. If we throttle the engine up to like 2k rpm's then the rear begins to cycle, but at idle it is dead stuck at 0.03904v. No matter what we do the rear will not cycle at idle. We have even sent the ECU back to Adam to have him test it out and he applied 1v to the rear O2 and it registered. But when the car is running, nothing.

So my assumption here is that the ECU is not fueling the rear bank enough. When we richen up the tune either lowering the injector scaling or bumping up the fuel pressure, we see the front bank get rich, but the rear does nothing. WB shows it still at 16 afr even though the front bank O2 is sitting about 0.8-0.9v. The ECU looks to not be fueling the rear injectors enough. We have swapped out three sets of injectors and even moved the rears to the front and vise versa. No change.

Again, it is not a wiring issue!!! If it was a wiring issue then when I connect the front O2 to the rear O2 harness, I would not see the front cycling on the rear in evoscan.
