Alright, so I checked a few things. Free play was hard to measure but was either at the high end of normal, or there was slightly too much. I would think this would cause the opposite problem from what I am having (would think you would push it to the floor and it still be engaged). However, this is an educated guess.

I also tried to wiggle the fork and it did not feel like there was any free play there. Not sure what would cause that issue, but could see it making the clutch slip slightly. Any idea how to look into this further or fix it?

I put the car in a high gear and tried to make the clutch slip with no luck. So not sure if that is the issue or just a shitty clutch that doesn't launch well.

You should have some movement at the fork, there is two adjustments to the hydraulics.

First is at the pedal, second is behind the clutch master cylinder (there is a nut that alows the lenght of the servo pushrod to be adjusted).

If you crack the blead nipple and instantly get some free play at the fork it will be the rod behind the clutch master cylinder that needs adjusting.
